Ivan to Co-Direct Video for Juggalo Rapper Ouija Macc

LOS ANGELES—AVN Award-winning director Ivan reports that he is stepping into the world of music videos. It's a natural move for the man who's been honored as AVN's Web Director of the Year and also has been praised by AVN for his “MTV-style shooting and editing.” Recently Ivan was approached by Ouija Macc and his co-director, Andrew W. Mayeux, to jump on board for the artist's next video. Ouija Macc is the newest recording artist signed by Insane Clown Posse’s Psychopathic Records. Ouija Macc releases his mixtapes on audio cassettes, an anomaly in a world of digital consumption. Having his last three releases at the top of the Billboard and/or iTunes charts is just a beginning for this tattooed rap artist, whose style fits perfectly with Ivan’s new directing gig with AltErotic.com. “I have been an [Insane Clown Posse] fan for years, ever since 1995 when I saw their music video while studying for my cinematography course,” Ivan said. “I fell in love with their style and nu fuccs given attitude. When Matt and Ouija approached me, I was like a fat kid in a candy store—or I guess Fat Old Juggalo at a Gathering. “This needed to happen. I am an extra in a Troma movie and now this? Bucket list has just flowed over,” he crowed. For years Ivan has used his background in cinematography to tell stories in adult entertainment. He began as a film student at the acclaimed Brooks Institute of Photography and quickly transitioned into horror filmmaking. This visual style transitioned into the porn world as he helmed such titles as Texas Asshole Massacre (2004) and Dawn of the Head (2005), both for Evolution Erotica. And now, he's ready to bring his talents to a project with Ouija under the auspices of AltErotic.com. “We have mostly done tattoos on female models,” says Sascha, owner of AltErotic. “Let’s see if Ouija can join the Alt Erotic tattoo family once he steps into our studio.”  Comments co-director Mayeux, “Ouija had the brilliant idea of making an adult music video after getting his posts repeatedly reported as pornography: ‘Might as well give ’em what they want.’ Sharing his vision and desire to create this project, I knew Ivan was the only person to work with to pull it off. Ivan’s ability to paint with light and color is, in my opinion, unmatched in the adult film world.
