YNOT Grand Prix Gears Up for Final Race of the Year at TES Prague

PRAGUE – For its final race of 2019, the YNOT Grand Prix is again heading to Kart Centrum in Prague. The race will run on Friday, September 13, on the evening of the first full day of the European Summit.

Known for its difficult, hairpin turn-filled track, Kart Centrum offers the longest kart track in Europe. In previous runs of the YNOT GP, the track has challenged even the best drivers in the field.

“I love the track at Kart Centrum, because a tough course always leads to an entertaining race,” said YNOT co-owner and Grand Prix organizer Jay Kopita. “When you have some drivers slowing way down to navigate a turn and others trying to barrel through them, it’s a recipe for a little mid-race chaos. You can feel the tension build in spectators watching the race from the stands and it makes the whole event that much more fun.”

Complimentary transportation to Kart Centrum will leave the TES host hotel at 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. and depart again from the track at 8pm and 9pm, leaving competitors and spectators plenty of time to join in on other TES events scheduled for that night.

Kopita said that while all the driver’s seats have been claimed for the race, there’s still lots of room at the event for spectators and people who come to the event to network and build relationships.

“We’re all filled up in terms of drivers, but these races are almost as much fun to watch and cheer on as they are to compete in,” Kopita said. “Plus, it’s a great place to meet new contacts and grow your existing relationships in a lively, enjoyable setting.”
