Crowdfunding Page Aims To Aid Ex-Porn Star Living In Vegas Tunnel

Former adult performer Jenni Lee, who was active in the industry as recently as two years ago, according to her entry on the Internet Adult Film Database, made international headlines this week when a Dutch television crew filming a documentary on homelessness found her living in an underground tunnel beneath the streets of Las Vegas. But even though Lee, whose most recent credit per IAFD is the Brazzers production Horny Housewives 4, claimed to the Dutch filmmakers that she is “happy” living in the subterranean homeless camp, on Wednesday a new London-based entry on the crowdfunding site Just Giving appeared, in an attempt to raise  £50,000—or about $61,000—to help Lee get back on her feet. “We are trying to raise funds to help her get medical treatment, pay for a safe shelter and get any other assistance she might need on the way out of there,” wrote the crowdfunding campaign’s creator, identified only as "Alexander A". “With the money raised we will approach professionals who have experience with these situations, especially in the Las Vegas area.” But as of Friday afternoon, the campaign had raised only £40, or about 50 bucks, from just two donors. (Many potential donors may be wary that the campaign may be a scam, as such things have been know to happen. However, this campaign contains none of the usual hints of scammery.) About 1,000 homeless people are believed to make their homes in the Las Vegas storm drains, according to a Sun newspaper report.  Known derisively as “mole people,” the Vegas underground homeless must live at constant risk of “rats in unsanitary conditions, bites from venomous spiders and drowning in the flood defense pipes.” Nonetheless, Lee, who appeared to have somehow lost multiple teeth, told the Dutch interviewers that living in the 200-mile-long maze of drainpipes was "not as difficult as you might think.” “I’m happy, I’ve everything I need here,” she said, adding that she had made “more genuine friends” among the tunnel-dwelling homeless than she ever did in the above-ground world, presumably including within the adult industry—despite becoming, she said, “very famous” as a porn performer. “I should still be in the top 100 on some list somewhere,” she said, according to The Mirror newspaper.  “I used to be so hot."
