Pulse Recruits NMG Management as Official Licensing Arm |
CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Pulse Distribution has entered into an agreement making New Media Group Management its new official licensing arm. The deal merges NMG Management's experience in brand management and global content licensing with Pulse’s stable of represented studios both large and boutique, giving those studios a greater worldwide presence than through DVD sales alone. “This agreement between Pulse Distribution and NMG Management will open additional revenue streams for our current clients, and any future clients,” Pulse CEO Jim Kohls said. NMG Management specializes in assisting studios and content producers with generating additional revenue from ancillary markets and integrating each monetization channel available, including broadcast, foreign licensing, mobile, IPTV, web and VOD, all while continually searching for new emerging channels on behalf of its business partners. “Pulse Distribution is a great company to work with,” NMG Management partner Megan Stokes said. “We’ve been fortunate to build a strong, symbiotic relationship with them for many years. They have such a large presence in the distribution market, that it just made sense for us to team up. We’re really excited to grow this relationship in a new direction, and help create more revenue opportunities for their studios. Together, we can’t wait to help the studios reach a wider audience." The team at NMG Management, founded by partners with decades of experience as content, affiliate program and production managers, also includes a staff of professional designers, marketers, tech, business services professionals, accountants, collections agents and more. With a broad list of studio clients, many of which are already on the Pulse Distribution roster, NMG Management perpetually researches the ever-evolving adult entertainment customer base, to continuously reach markets studios may miss due to busy production schedules and lack of contacts in nontraditional spaces. In addition to time-honored licensing deals such as broadcast deals with major broadcast channels, including television providers, hotel chains and closed-circuit outlets, NMG Management brokers unique, creative deals for its partners, such as licensing images to high-end car dealerships in Dubai, retail product tie-ins, and more. Studios represented under the Pulse Distribution umbrella interested in learning more about working with NMG Management are encouraged to contact their Pulse representative for more information and to arrange a review of their available content. Pulse Distribution handles DVD distribution for over 300 studios, both straight and LGBTQ, in every genre from gonzo, anthology and narrative to fetish and niche productions. The distributor’s roster is continuously updated, adapting to the industry landscape, to better serve its immense customer base. For more information, visit www.pulsedistribution.com.
