SWOP Talk Scheduled To Assess Needs Of LA Sex Workers |
WEST HOLLYWOOD Calif.—The Sex Workers Outreach Project Los Angeles (SWOP-LA) is hosting a SWOP Talk this Friday afternoon to assess the needs of the Los Angeles (and environs) sex worker community. The organization hopes to bring together sex workers from every aspect of the industry to talk to SWOP's activists about their lived experiences so that both groups, working together, can help create a safer world. Those who attend the SWOP Talk will receive $20 for their participation in the survey that will take place at the meeting, and all answers will be kept confidential. The organization will be using this information to access better resources and support for the L.A. sex worker community.
