UPDATED: BangBros, Others Part Ways With Director Ivan Itzkowitz |
UPDATE: A representative from PlumperPass/Sensational Video, also based out of South Florida and for whom Itzkowitz regularly directed, informed AVN following the posting of this story that it too has cut ties with him in light of these allegations. LOS ANGELES—BangBros has officially parted ways with producer/director Ivan Itzkowitz, who was under a non-exclusive contract to shoot for the Miami-based company, after conducting an internal investigation into several allegations of assault made by female performers on Twitter since June 2. In a new statement posted on their official Twitter feed @BangBrosDotCom Tuesday, the company said, “As a follow up to our statement regarding the 3rd party producer, after investigating this matter, we have determined to cease purchasing content from this producer.” On June 3, BangBros tweeted, “Recently we learned of some concerning allegations against a third-party producer. All 3rd party producers are required to conduct themselves in a professional manner. We take these allegations very seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action.” Itzkowitz did not respond to a request for comment at post time. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based shooter has been directing for BangBros and Plumper Pass for the past year-and-a-half; he also shoots for Team Skeet and formerly worked for Reality Kings, among others.
