Fresh Faces: Lyra Lockhart

The time may come when Lyra Lockhart helps save the earth while doing environmental research, but right now she’s working her way through college as a porn starlet. She started in August 2018, having just turned 20. Why? “I like sex a lot, obviously, and I’m in college and thought it might be a way to earn some additional money.” So she applied online to ATMLA, and they signed her up. She is studying chemistry and eventually wants to “do some sort of research on the environment.” With dark hair, hazel eyes and a 34D top, Lockhart comes from the San Diego area but has been living in Los Angeles for the past few years. School vs. shoots? “It’s working out but I can’t do as many scenes. Directors don’t want to book you if you have school. So obviously I can’t work full time in porn now. But I really like it and I hope I can continue to do it.” She’s worked with Ramon Nomar in A Stepfather’s Desire 3 (New Sensations) and in scenes for Lethal Hardcore, Team Skeet and Cherry Pimps. And unlike many newcomers, she has already done anal sex in several scenes, including LeWood’s Up My Booty 3. Hobbies? “I used to run cross-country and track in high school and still like to run. I practice yoga. I have a black belt in tae kwon do as well.” Her words to live come from the Grateful Dead: “We don’t own this place, we just act as if we did. It’s a loan from the children of our children’s kids.” She says it’s “kind of talking about the earth and the environment and how we need to [care for it] for for future generations.
