Brazzers Offers Free Membership to Stranded Wow Air Passengers

LOS ANGELES—Passengers stranded by the unexpected closure of budget airline Wow Air found some sympathy from a leading porn company. On its Twitter account today, Brazzers offered a free membership to those affected. “Stranded by @wow_air? Send us a pic of your boarding pass for a free membership to pass the time!” the company tweeted. Replies to the tweet were generally positive, but it was unclear if anyone had taken Brazzers up on the offer. More than 1,000 passengers were affected by the grounding of aircraft today, and several thousand more have future travel plans affected by the closure. The Icelandic budget carrier ceased operations and cancelled flights Thursday, announcing the closure in a statement on its website. Negotiations to save the airline continued through Wednesday night, but were ultimately unsuccessful.
