“Boob Surgery” for Mia Khalifa, After Implant Ruptured by Hockey Puck |

Retired adult star Mia Khalifa underwent surgery earlier this week to repair a ruptured breast implant, nine months after she was struck by a hockey puck at a Stanley Cup playoff game. In May of 2018, Khalifa posted a photo on Instagram, showing herself in the front row of the game, puck in hand. “I got hit in the boob with a puck during the game, and I’m 80% sure it ruptured an implant,” she wrote. “But the good news is, I got a game used puck from a Capitals Stanley cup playoff game. Worth it.” She later told the Daily Star that she estimated the puck was moving at 80 mph when it hit her, and it caused her left breast to become “slightly deflated” when her implant burst. She underwent surgery this week to repair the damage, and has documented her recovery process on her Instagram story under the heading “Boob Surgery.” Her boyfriend, Swedish chef Robert Sandberg, has been caring for her after what he called a “four hour easy surgery.” According to Khalifa, her surgeon, Dr. Jay Calvert, removed fat from her lower torso and injected it into her left breast to reinflate the damaged area. Khalifa skyrocketed to international fame in 2014, when a porn scene she filmed wearing a hijab went viral. Though she left the porn industry after just a few short months, her stardom has continued unabated. She remains one of the most searched-for porn stars in the world on Pornhub as of the end of 2018, and the lifelong sports fanatic has leveraged her notoriety into her own sports podcast, Sportsball. |
