Stills by Alan Issues Statement Refuting Lily Adams Accusations |
CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Director Stills by Alan on Sunday afternoon posted a statement to Twitter addressing allegations of sexual assault made against him roughly a month and a half ago, also via the social media site, by performer Lily Adams. This marks the first time Alan has commented publicly about the accusations, which resulted in Gamma Films Group suspending all productions under his direction indefinitely and opening its own internal investigation into the matter. Gamma head of production Bree Mills issued her own statement about the investigation, by Twitter as well, two days after it was opened, and the company on January 11 announced it had instituted a new code of conduct for all talent and crew it employs, ostensibly as a response to the allegations. Alan's statement issued today opens, "On December 29, 2018, my world was turned upside-down when an adult performer made criminal accusations against myself and Bree Mills on social media. Up until now I have been cooperating with Gamma Films' investigation into the matter, and thought it prudent to not make any public statements. Now that I have spoken and provided evidence to Gamma's attorneys, I will state publicly what I told them: the accusations made against me are completely false and baseless. Not only was the sexual encounter between myself and the performer 100% consensual, the circumstances under which it took place were misrepresented and fabricated by the performer to create the false impression that it arose out of a 'go see' appointment."
