Divorce Papers Show Husband Accuses Stormy Daniels of Adultery |
Stormy Daniels’ husband, Brendon Miller, has filed for divorce from the AVN Hall of Famer, claiming in court papers submitted in Kaufman County, Texas, that Daniels committed adultery during their marriage, which, Miller says in the document, has effectively ended after just 20 months. As AVN.com has extensively reported, Daniels has assumed a national public profile in the last five months after filing a lawsuit against Donald Trump and his personal lawyer and “fixer” Michael Cohen to get out of a “hush money” deal that prevented her from discussing a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. Daniels was paid $130,000 shortly before the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about the 2006 episode. In the divorce filing, in which he uses his given name of Glendon Crain, Miller claims that Daniels is planning to expose the couple’s seven-year-old daughter to a “threat of serious and immediate physical or emotional harm” by bringing the child on tour with her, “on her tour bus with other adult performers and producers.” Miller also seeks a restraining order that would prevent Daniels from inflicting bodily hard on him or the couple’s child, as well as barring Daniels from accessing any of the couple’s jointly held financial assets, or bringing anyone “employed in the adult entertainment industry” near the child, according to The Smoking Gun. According to a report by the TMZ site, a judge in the case agree to grant the request for a temporary restraining order against Daniels. Though Miller filed papers with the Kaufman County District Court last Wednesday, the impending divorce did not become public until Monday morning, July 23, when Daniels’ lawyer in the Trump lawsuit, Michael Avenatti, revealed the proceedings on his Twitter account. "My client Stormy Daniels and her husband Glen have decided to end their marriage. A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed,” Avenatti wrote, without specifying which claim or claims made by Miller were under “vehement” dispute. In the document, Miller says that the couple were married on November 25, 2015—but that they separated on July 11 of this year. July 11 is also the date on which Daniels was arrested during her nightclub act in Columbus, Ohio, on charges that she illegally touched audience members. On the arrest report, Daniels said that she was not married. Image: Stormy Daniels and Brendon Miller at the 2016 AVN Awards; photo by Jeff Koga/@KogaFoto
