Big-Budget Wicked Feature 'Camgirl' to Arrive May 23

CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Wicked Pictured revealed Thursday that director Brad Armstrong's next banner feature, Camgirl, is set to debut May 23 on DVD and at Wicked.com. Starring 2018 AVN Best Supporting Actress Kristen Scott and Female Performer of the Year Angela White, Camgirl follows Armstrong's ambitious projects of last year, An Inconvenient Mistress and Takers, both nominated for new AVN Award category Best Action/Thriller. "With the incredible popularity of camming, I thought what a great time to undertake a related project," Armstrong explained. "Not so much a viewer/camera POV type of movie, but more of an inside look into what makes our lead character 'tick.' Kristen Scott stars as Kelly Mathews, and she dove into the project full force and really became the character." In an on-the-set piece about the making of Camgirl (available here), Scott told AVN's Tod Hunter, "When I read the script and I saw that it was about a single mom camming to put herself through school, I was really excited to be part of something that is genuine and real. That's my favorite type of character to play. Not a stepdaughter or babysitter or something like that. Something I can do some real serious acting with." The movie co-stars Abella Danger, Lucas Frost, Honey Gold, Ryan McLane and Small Hands.
