Winners of Toronto International Porn Festival Announced

TORONTO—Following screenings of pornography from all over the world, the three-day Toronto International Porn Festival issued awards to leading creators. “We were thrilled with this year’s film submissions, whose subject matter showcased an amazingly diverse range of sex-positive stories,” said Carlyle Jansen, founder of the Toronto International Porn Festival. “We are so heartened that the city came out to the festival with such spirit and love for erotica and for one another.” Notable winners include Erika Lust, who won the Best Kink Short category for her short Dirty Feet as well as took home gold for Tie Me Up in the Most Dazzling Docu-Short category, and John Brodie, who won the Spiciest Political Short category for his film Dress Up. The Porn Fest, as it is commonly referred to, featured 15 screenings of 64 films and three feature-length films, three panel discussions, and the inclusion of VR porn experiences. This years festival also featured a DIY workshop complete with a live porn shoot which they hope will inspire more local film submissions for next year.
