Lawsuit: Former Saudi Prince Commissioned Porn, Skipped on Bill |
NANTERRE, France—A lawsuit filed with the High Court in Nanterre alleges the late Prince Saud al-Faisal had porn films made for his private consumption, but never paid the bill before he died. The lawsuit was filed late in 2017, but details of the case only came to light recently when evidence was submitted to the High Court. According to a report in Newsweek, the suit was filed by a French concierge company, SARL Atyla, and claims Prince Saud al-Faisal—who served as Saudi Arabia's foreign minister from 1975 to 2015—commissioned adult movies featuring a Moroccan woman, with whom he enjoyed a “close relationship,” and a well-known French porn star. The names of the women have not been revealed. Prince Saud al-Faisal died on July 9, 2015. The suit was filed after Prince Saud al-Faisal’s heirs reportedly refused to pay the 90,00 euros bill for the movies. News of the lawsuit comes as Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is on an official visit to France as part of his global tour to promote his cultural agenda. The lawsuit is not the only fly in the ointment, however, as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s sister has a warrant for her arrest in France after she reportedly ordered a bodyguard in 2016 to beat up a worker at her Paris apartment. As for the SARL Atyla lawsuit, The Local—a French news agency—reports the company said it has not yet entered the films it created for Prince Saud al-Faisal into evidence, but could do so if the bill remains unpaid.
