Seth Rogen: Stormy Told Me About Sex With Trump in 2006

CYBERSPACE—Actor and comedian Seth Rogen said that Stormy Daniels revealed her alleged affair with Donald Trump to him more than a decade ago, when she appeared in the film Knocked Up, in which Rogen was the star. The 35-year-old Rogen, who has since gone on to become one of Hollywood’s most successful comedy stars and writers, made the revelation during an appearance on the Ellen Degeneres talk show on Monday. Daniels appeared in the hit movie, which was written and directed by Judd Apatow, in the small role of a stripper. She also played a similar role in an earlier Apatow film, The 40 Year Old Virgin. Rogen said that she was cast by Apatow simply because it was easier to hire porn performers to play strippers than to hire actresses who not appear in adult films. Daniels has said that her sexual relationship with Trump took place in July of 2006. The Knocked Up movie filmed during the summer of 2006, meaning that Daniels' initial encounter with Trump would have taken place only days or weeks before she performed in the film. Rogen told Degeneres that when Daniels revealed the affair with Trump, neither he nor any of his fellow cast members were especially shocked. “At the time, when you ask a porn star who they’ve been sleeping with and the answer was Donald Trump, it was like the least surprising thing that she could’ve said,” he said in the interview. “It wasn’t—at the time—wasn’t that surprising and then, as [Trump’s] campaign rolled out, it became clear that no one cared about anything he did. So, it didn’t really occur to me even that it would come out or that anyone would care about it, but then when I saw it, I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, Stormy told us all about that,’ ” Rogen recalled. In addition to a minor role in the film, Daniels also appeared with Rogen in an extra scene filmed fo the DVD release of Knocked Up, titled “My Dinner With Stormy.”  In the scene, Rogen—who also served as a producer on the film—has an “intimate dinner” with Daniels. Daniels spoke publicly about her affair with Trump for the first time in a 60 Minutes interview broadcast on March 25. In the interview, she also claimed that in 2011 an unknown man threatened her and her then-infant daughter in a Las Vegas parking lot, warning her not to talk about her involvement with Trump.
