Fresh Faces: Lexi Luna

The tall, voluptuous Indiana native, who now calls Fort Lauderdale home, has had success in the South Florida porn scene and now means to make a wider impact. Luna quit a teaching career to join the adult industry last spring, but she made sure to look before she took the leap. Approached on Fetlife.com, ("the social network for the Fetish BDSM & Kinky community" with 5 million members) she researched the company that made her the offer. She realized that teaching "was not satisfying me at all. I'd given it five good years of really trying to turn around my feelings for teaching, my passion, and it didn't happen. So once I got to the point of mid-career crisis ... I'm five years into teaching and it's not something I can retire from because we know that educators are overworked and underpaid. So the opportunity came at the right time. "I had to do my research, though, because I know this is something you just can't try and then come back to real life. So I really had to take the time to think about it. I decided it was something I could do and just jumped in." After camming and work on fetish sites she soon gained attention in Florida. She did a scene for Reality Kings with Bruce Venture ("Fuzzy Peach"), a threeway with Cristi Ann and J-Mac for Bang Bros. ("Invasion 19") and a scene with Xander Corvus for Brazzers. For Blazed Studios, she scored box covers for Blowjobs and Stockings and (with Reagan Lush) for Two Broke Sluts. "I've been talking to some agents but I don't have one yet. I really enjoy self-booking. I do a lot of fetish work and those things are easier to book on your own. But I'm aware that in L.A. it makes it a lot easier [with an agent]." Part of her trip to Porn Valley was to scope out the territory, but part was just to enjoy. "This is my first time in L.A. and in California in general, so I've been playing tourist ... so much fun ... I've been having a rollercoaster of a time. So many people have been so warm and welcoming. "The people I've met in the industry are the most helpful and positive people I know. Every time I leave a conversation I feel more empowered and excited to do the work. If I'm feeling empowered and I'm ready to go out and make video and network and do my job, then it's been a great day." Her porn ambitions extend beyond performance. "I'd love to get behind the camera, I'd love to write scripts. I'm constantly writing notes in my book about ideas I have for videos and things like that. "I really hope to accomplish some education as well, teaching teens, 18, 19-year old girls and guys about sexuality, about being safe in whatever you do. Having someone who doesn't judge you and wants to help you learn and explore your interests in a very safe way, that is the kind of education that I want to get into." Topping her to-do list for action is a gangbang. "I like to be the center of attention ... and what better place to be the center of attention than a gangbang? I'd also like to dominate two hot guys and make them serve their mistress. I am eager to work with Jelena Jenson, Jillian Janson, Tia Cyrus, Johnny and Kissa Sins, and Jay Smooth." Off-camera pursuits? "Well, in Florida the weather's always beautiful and sunny, so I go to the beach a lot. There's a great nude beach close to me, so I like to go there. A couple of my cam girlfriends in South Florida, we hang out and inspire each other." She also loves "trying new restaurants, traveling, camming, shopping, board games, and to binge watch Netflix." Any regrets about leaving teaching? "Absolutely not. I am doing what I love, I am doing what I want, that's what life is all about."
