Axel Braun Announces Cast of 'Justice League XXX'

CANOGA PARK, Calif.—On April 9, over 100 adult performers lined up outside the Wicked Pictures headquarters to audition for various key roles in director Axel Braun's next Wicked Comix extravaganza, Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. Braun presided over the auditions with assitance from reigning AVN Best Actress Kleio Valentien, who won the award for last year's megahit and 2017 AVN Movie of the Year Suicide Squad XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, and from Ryan Driller, who will reprise his signature role as Superman once again in Justice League XXX. “The turnout was absolutely unprecedented,” Braun said. “We were there for almost six hours and I have to say I was incredibly impressed with a lot of the talent. Romi Rain was actually out of town the day of the casting call, so she asked to come and read a few days later, and when she did I was literally blown away by her acting skills. I honestly was already set on another A-lister who had done a fantastic read, but I don’t think I’ve seen an audition of Romi's caliber in 27 years in the industry. Within the first ten seconds I knew she had the role. And that’s before she cried on cue.” The role in question is that of Wonder Woman, the movie's female lead. “I’ve been wanting a big role like this for a long time,” Rain said, “so when I was told that auditions for Justice League XXX were happening while I was out of the country, I asked my agents at OC Modeling repeatedly to see if I could still come in later to audition. Thanks to their persistence, Axel finally agreed, and I'm so grateful that he has given me one of the biggest opportunities of my career! I love performing and I really love acting, and I take extra pleasure in challenging myself, so I could not be more excited to be a part of the biggest movie of the year!” Aside from Rain, the all-star cast will also feature August Ames as Lashina, as well as two other OC Modeling girls: Jessa Rhodes as Knockout, and two-time AVN Best All-Girl Performer of the Year Shyla Jennings as Batwoman. “Batwoman was the first openly lesbian superhero in the history of DC Comics, so it was important for me to have a girl/girl-only performer in that role,” Braun noted. “Having Shyla play Batwoman is just about as fitting as it gets. She is gorgeous, strong and sexy, and her character has the potential for a future solo movie, so I am very excited to have her!” Other returning cast members are Charles Dera as Batman, Wicked Girl Jessica Drake as Cat Grant, Katrina Jade as Mercy Graves, Aiden Ashley as Catwoman and Derrick Pierce as Lex Luthor, while the roles of The Flash and Green Lantern went respectively to Tyler Nixon and reigning AVN Best Actor Xander Corvus—yet another OC Modeling client. “I love Xander,” said Braun, who has cast him as Spider-Man in five different movies over the years. “He is so talented, so intense, and also a lot of fun to be around! And he always gives 110 percent to everything he does. His audition for Green Lantern was awesome, and I know he’s totally gonna rock this role! After the Ryan Reynolds disaster, the world deserves a good Green Lantern. Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, which begins shooting next month, will pick up after the events of Supergirl XXX and Suicide Squad XXX, with Superman MIA, Batman retired, and Wonder Woman left to try and assemble a team of superheroes willing to fight an impending Earth invasion at the hands of Darkseid. The movie is scheduled to release August 16, 2017—exactly three months prior to its mainstream counterpart.
