MyFreeCams Models Relax at Private Party to Close Day 2

LAS VEGAS—The models of the MyFreeCams community danced, drank and hula-hooped at a private party Thursday night in Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The casual affair inside the intimate, brick-walled nightclub featured live performances by all-girl cover band Misty Day, which rocked the gathering with their eclectic mix of alternative, pop and even country music hits, and Chicago-based DJ Avi Sic, who even mixed in the MFC tip sound between tracks. Dozens of MyFreeCams models in town for the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo this week enjoyed cocktails at the open bar and gourmet hors d’oeuvres that included Asian-spiced steak, spring rolls, sliders and sautéed jerk chicken. The MFC staff set up a 30-foot table of MyFreeCams-branded swag for the models to grab on their way out with items such as baseball caps, hoodies, mini-vibrators, glow sticks, and twenty-something other handy items all adorned with splashes of MFC green and white. Even the stage was bathed in signature MFC green lighting effects. Some 600 MFC models registered to attend the AVN Show this week, receiving word about the after-show party via email. “I like how they treat their models. They treat their models with respect,” said Harlow Money, a native of Portland, Ore., who has lived in Vegas for the past six years. Money returned to MFC about nine months ago after a span in which she cammed occasionally while pursuing other modeling opportunities. She first signed up for her MFC account in 2009. “They do a lot for us,” Money said, noting that MFC gave the first 500 models at the show a sterling silver bracelet. “That’s pretty awesome, no other cam companies are doing that.” As Teyla69 moved to the sounds of Prince and Beastie Boys courtesy of Misty Day’s five-piece band, she told AVN she’s with MFC “because everyone knows them.” “If you ask someone about cams, they know about MyFreeCams,” said Teyla69, who worked at a restaurant before she started camming two years ago in her hometown of L.A. Las Vegas resident Olivia Wild said she hasn’t been camming from the show floor this week but she wanted to attend the MFC events after hours so she could network with other models. “It definitely is more fun than I thought,” said Wild, who started camming four months ago and joined MFC in November. “I thought it’d be a lot more awkward. But the girls have been much more welcoming and friendly than I expected.” A former massage therapist, Wild said she gave live-camming a shot after reading an article about it in Vegas Seven magazine. “I didn’t really consider it at first. Then I was like I kind of hate my job so I want to give this a try. I liked the whole idea of creating my own schedule,” Wild said. “I was really nervous at first. So when I first started I didn’t even talk. I would only type.” Wild said she didn’t realize how large the MFC community is, adding, “it’s really crazy and exciting to be part of that.” SnoWhite, an MFC model for the past one-and-half years, said this week marked her second time coming to the AVN Show with MFC. “This year is way better than last year,” said the native of Russellville, Ark., who has lived in Vegas for the past two years. “This year it’s like everything is more organized. Coming to AVN and feeling this love and getting all these gifts it makes me want to continue working for them. “I love it. The best part about it is whenever you work in a professional office setting you always want to meet the CEO. You always want to meet the general manager. You want to make a first impression. Well each one of these girls are the CEO or general manager’s of themselves. Each one of them has a network. “So MyFreeCams hosting these events will allow them to be like if I’m in New Mexico, I just met this girl from New Mexico and now we can make even more money doing shows together.” When she isn't camming she also runs her own full-service cleaning business. “You can literally do anything for camming,” SnoWhite said. “I can be cleaning my own house and make money camming. There was a couple of times with customers who are really close to me and my clients who I’ve had for years when I’ve said, ‘hey, do you mind if I cam in your house?’ And they don’t mind at all.” Grace McGrath, one of the convention models at the MFC booth this week, said the giveaways are second to none. “This is probably the best quality merchandise I’ve seen, with the sizing and the quality of the product and how much thought they put into it, from M&Ms to vibrators to hats,” McGrath said. “I think they really truly care about these girls.
