Mark Stone Memorial Gathering Announced |
LOS ANGELES—A memorial gathering for Mark Stone will be held on Saturday, December 17 at Goathouse Loft Studio in North Hollywood. The gathering, which will start at 1 p.m., will be a celebration of life for the beloved 34-year veteran of the adult industry who passed away on Dec. 1 from cancer. Goathouse Loft is located at 7303 Ethel Ave., North Hollywood, 91605. “Anyone in the industry is welcome to come, especially friends and co-workers of Mark,” said Gary Miller, the executive producer of the AVN Awards Show who is Mark’s younger brother. Stone, who grew up in Rochester, N.Y., started his career in adult as a salesman and went on to become one of the three originators of the AVN Awards Show. In addition to being a passionate musician, he was a prolific director and videographer with more than 100 adult films on his resume during three decades behind the camera. Miller said no RSVP is necessary for the gathering; light refreshments will be served. A GoFundMe page that was started to help with Stone's medical expenses is still online.
