Unlike those who back into the adult industry by chance or accident, Summer Day has wanted to be a porn star since she was 14. “I waited and went to college until I was ready, and I’ve loved every second of it.” Her freethinking parents “were artists and hippies. Dad was a bachelor, he had Playboy books and posters around. I’ve had Playboy posters in my room since I was little. My parents both know. They weren’t surprised.” She got an AA degree in art before taking time off to model. “I can go back to school later when I decide what to do.” Her best friend (“She shared a tattoo with me”) recommended an agent to her after a modeling gig Day was applying for turned out to be porn. “She sent me over to them, because she knew I was always interested in it.” Day shot her first scene with Seth Gamble. “I loved it. He was super nice. It was a lot of what I expected, but there was more stopping. I love being on camera. I knew I would love it. I feel like when the camera is there I come more alive.” She keeps a notebook of her scenes, and one of her favorites is for Mike Adriano. “That was my first anal scene. When I got in the industry, all I wanted to do was anal. I lost my anal virginity before I ever had sex. I’ve just always loved it. I was excited for that shoot and I’ve always wanted to shoot for Evil Angel.
