CalExotics Donates To National Compassion Fund In Wake Of Orlando Tragedy |
ONTARIO, Calif.—To continue its support of the LGBTQ community, pleasure products manufacturer CalExotics donated $5,000 to the National Compassion Fund. The donation comes in the wake of the recent mass shooting in Orlando. “Our hearts are heavy with the burden of sadness that we feel for all those impacted by this malicious tragedy,” said Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics. “Our aim is not only to support the greater community, but also to assist those that have been directly impacted by this act of domestic terror.” With this donation, CalExotics makes a pledge to stand with the LGBTQ community and against any acts of terrorism, domestic or foreign. All of the funds received through the National Compassion Fund are distributed directly to victims. The National Compassion Fund is working closely with Equality Florida, the state’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization to combine efforts and ensure fair and transparent distribution of the donations received. For more than 20 years the organization has donated over $1.5 million to various organizations involving the rights of the disenfranchised and underserved.
