Trailer for St. James' 'Submission' Debuts on HuffPo

CYBERSPACE—The official trailer for Submission, the upcoming BDSM-themed mini-series from adult director Jacky St. James, debuted today on The Huffington Post. Coming to the Showtime network next month, with the first episode airing May 12 at 11 p.m., Submission was produced by AVN founder Paul Fishbein's Plausible Films and stars Ashlynn Yennie as Ashley, a young woman who after a bad breakup gets drawn by her new roommates into the world of bondage and sadomasochism, abetted by a BDSM-focused erotic novel entitled Slave that captures her fascination. Adult star Skin Diamond undertakes a supporting role in the six-episode series. Declaring in its headline that the Submission trailer "puts the sex in 'Fifty Shades' to shame," the HuffPo write-up goes on to describe the Ashley character as "Anastasia-Steele-turned-up" and posits, "If 'Fifty Shades of Grey' was meant for the 'mom' crowd, then Showtime's new scripted mini-series 'Submission' is for the more adventurous type."
