LAPD Investigates Sheen for Alleged Threat Against Rossi

LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Police Department has opened a criminal investigation against Charlie Sheen for allegedly threatening the life of his ex-fiancee, adult star Brett Rossi, multiple news outlets have reported. Rossi last week obtained a temporary restraining order against Sheen on the heels of a RadarOnline.com report of an alleged audio recording of the HIV-positive actor threatening her, sources close to the situation confirmed to AVN Wednesday.  Radar on Wednesday reported that LAPD served a search warrant to its offices in New York regarding its published reports on the tape. Rossi, who is in the midst of a porn comeback, filed suit against Sheen in December, accusing the actor of assault and battery, emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence. She also said that Sheen hid his HIV-positive status from her while engaging in unprotected sex with her. The actor responded with court documents asking that Rossi's suit be dismissed with prejudice, and now an arbitrator is deciding if the suit must be resolved in arbitration or sent back to a judge.   The performer's 11-month relationship with Sheen ended in October 2014. But after he went public with his HIV status on Nov. 17, 2015, and reneged on a settlement agreement with Rossi, she filed suit.
