Fleshlight, Blewit Settle Patent Infringement Lawsuit |
AUSTIN, Texas—Interactive Life Forms, makers of the Fleshlight family of products, and Blewit, makers of the Blewit performance and pleasure training system for men, announced they have settled a patent infringement lawsuit. The suit, filed by ILF in January, alleged the Houston-based Blewit infringed upon ILF's intellectual property rights, specifically U.S. Patent No. 5,807,360, also known as the '360 patent. The complaint further alleged CT Schenk—CEO of Blewit and an employee of ILF from 2005 until about 2008—and Blewit had full knowledge of the ‘360 patent and ILF’s patented technology. “I am pleased that we were able to settle this matter and grateful for all of the support that we received during the process,” said Schenk. “Our mission is to promote open communication about sexual health and enhance our users’ sex lives and relationships, and our product is a key component of that. We’re looking forward to the future.” For more information, visit Fleshlight.com or Blewit.com.
