Tushy, Blacked, Lansky Rack Up 16 AVN Awards

LAS VEGAS—It was an epic Saturday night in Sin City for Tushy.com, Blacked.com and the sister imprints' chief creative officer and director Greg Lansky, as the three hauled off a combined grand total of 16 trophies at the 2016 AVN Awards. The honors came fast and furious all night for Tushy, Blacked and Lansky at the 33rd annual “Oscars of Porn.” “I’m still completely blown away and humbled by these honors that AVN has awarded us,” Lansky said. “I have so many people to thank, and none of this happens without a great team, so first and foremost, to them, thank you for seeing my vision and working so hard to see it through.” Tushy.com, launched only six months ago, received seven awards including Best New Imprint and Best Star Showcase for the company’s Being Riley starring Riley Reid, who herself took home the most coveted Female Performer of the Year. Three individual scenes from the high-end feature also took home awards. For its part, Blacked.com collected eight awards including honors for Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene, Best Interracial Movie and Best Membership Website. “Adult entertainment is art, and adult performers are artists, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise," Lansky said on stage while receiving the Director of the Year award. “I'm so thankful for all the amazing performers I work with—they are courageous, they are artists, and now the world needs to acknowledge that. I have so much respect and love for this industry, it’s a privilege to work with so many talented people who are as committed as I am.” Also coming away with the award for Best Cinematography, Lansky later commented of his Director of the Year victory, “Winning this was a dream of mine, and while it was an honor being nominated, it feels special to win.
