ANE Exhibitor Nomi Tang Combines Form and Function

When mainstream media outlets feature innovators in the pleasure product industry, there’s a good chance Nomi Tang will be among the names that are dropped. The Asian-German entrepreneur got her start in 2009 with the irresistibly named Better Than Chocolate lay-on vibrator, which went on to garner rave reviews and a coveted Red-dot Product Design Award in 2010 that was well deserved for its ergonomically sensible design and attractive appearance. Since then she’s gone on to create such playthings as the Getaway vibrator, the Touch Me mini massager, the IntiMate Kegel exerciser, the Infiniti dual stimulation vibrator and the Spotty prostate stimulator. The Infiniti followed Better Than Chocolate and impressed the Red Dot jury, bringing Tang another Red Dot Product Design Award in 2014. Tang’s products mix fashion-forward design with safe materials, ergonomics and intuitive controls, and have been seen at trade shows around the world including Erofame in Germany, Pink Tokyo, AAE in Macao and ADC in Shanghai. And this month ANE attendees can see her designs in Las Vegas. “Pleasure is part of our life,” Tang said. “My toys are designed to intensify our experience.”
