SugarDVD Rebrands to SugarInstant

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—SugarDVD announced this week it is changing its name to SugarInstant.  SugarInstant will continue to offer DVD rentals, sales, toys, pay-per-view, and unlimited streaming. The change reflects Sugar’s increased focus on its unlimited streaming services, the company said. Current customers and affiliates are still able to login with their SugarDVD credentials. Launching it's unlimited service on Roku in 2011, Sugar has since expanded it to Playstation, Xbox, mobile devices and more. The service offers thousands of HD movies for $7.95 a month. There is a free 10-day trial for new customers. The service says it has worked to make finding and watching movies on any device as simple as possible. It has a recommendation engine to highlight good movies for customers so they don’t have to spend so much time hunting for them. It also allows customers to add and remove categories, and store movies in a favorites folder for easy access. "What makes Sugar different is our commitment to offer the best user experience, while keeping our eyes to the future and working towards the next big thing,” said Content Manager Natasha. The site is currently nominated by AVN for Best Retail Website of 2015.
