Former Gay Performer Jarec Wentworth Sentenced To Prison For Extortion |
LOS ANGELES—Jarec Wentworth—a former Sean Cody star and Men.com exclusive—was sentenced to nearly six years in prison for extorting an Audi sports can and $500,000 in cash from a man who had hired him as an escort. Wentworth, whose real name is Teofil Brank, was sentenced to 70 months in prison and three years probation following his release, as well as ordered to pay $500,000 restitution to his victim. He was arrested by the FBI in March of this year after he reportedly took the items from the man in exchange for not revealing details of the victim’s sexual liaisons. According to court reports, Wentworth continued to contact his victim following his arrest and while he was jailed awaiting trial, falsely accusing the man of having sex with minors. Wentworth will serve his sentence in California, though it has not yet been determined in which prison.
