Audio From Porn Blares Over Loudspeakers At California Target |
SAN JOSE—Shoppers at a San Jose, Calif., Target were treated to something a little different than easy listening-style music while they perused the shelves recently when the audio of a porn was played over the loudspeakers. According to reports, store officials are investigating but have made no comment. The incident, which happened at about 10:30 a.m. Oct. 15, was captured on video by a mother shopping with her young boys. The movie played for several minutes before stopping for a short time and then starting again. It was also the second such incident; the same thing happened at a Target in San Luis Obispo, Calif., in July. There is no word yet on whether it was the same movie played in each store, but after the first incident officials at GameLink.com had offered to help investigators determine which movie was being played. No word on whether Target took them up on the offer, though.
