Women Fight Back Against Trump Menstruation Slur |
PORN VALLEY—Attention, porn fans: It's not a subject that's much discussed, but a certain number of the sex scenes you've all seen and enjoyed were actually performed by women who were having their period at the time, with the menstrual flow stopped by inserted sponges and other devices that didn't get in the way of a lengthy cock. But the point is, you saw those scenes, you enjoyed them—hell, you might even have enjoyed this movie—and while you're probably right now trying to think back as to whether there were any clues you missed as to the actress's menstrual status, let me help you: There weren't. The actresses were (are!) professionals and handled themselves professionally—and most had no trouble enjoying the scene themselves despite the internal barrier, which let nothing through. Which brings us to one of the biggest jackasses in the media today, the man who just might be America's next president unless sanity prevails, Donald Trump. Trump was one of ten candidates that Fox News allowed to "debate" each other last Thursday night, and apparently, the Trumpster was a little upset by some of the questions being asked by Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly—and he expressed that upsetness the following day in an interview with CNN's Don Lemon. "She did push you; she pushed a lot of people," Lemon noted, "but what is it with you and Megyn Kelly?" "Well, I just don't respect her as a journalist," Trump responded. "I have no respect for her. I don't think she's very good. I think she's highly overrated. ... So she gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions and, you know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her ... wherever, but she was—in my opinion, she was off-base. And by the way, not in my opinion; in the opinion of hundreds of thousands of people on Twitter, because it has been a brutal day—in one way, a great day for Fox; in another day [sic], in the Twittersphere, it's been very bad because she's been very badly criticized. She's a lightweight; I couldn't care less about her." Of course, Kelly is "overrated"; she's on Fox, where all of their "news"casters are overrated, but that's not the point. The problem is, the piggish candidate talked about "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her [short pause] wherever," which not only was literally false, but it implied that women who are in the process of having their periods are somehow intellectually inferior or dumbed-down by that bodily function. And guess what: whatever Trump's Twitter followers may have said about Kelly's perceived lack of professionalism, another large group of tweeters took issue with the idea that when a woman's menses flow, their brains follow. Of course, the following day, Trump tried to spin the comment by claiming that "wherever" meant "her nose and/or ears," but pretty much everyone knew he was referring to her pussy—and they were upset about it; enough to create the hashtag "periodsarenotaninsult"—and to tweet at him about the progress of their monthly bleeding. "@realDonaldTrump - on the third day of my period AND still a functioning member of society! Who knew?! #periodsarenotaninsult," wrote Kat Victorious. "@realDonaldTrump Just finished menstruating. I still don't like you. Guess it had nothing to do w/ my period.#periodsarenotaninsult" added Jennifer Welborn. "@realDonaldTrump just pms so far—cramps bloating backache sore breasts, just as capable, thought u'd wanna know #periodsarenotaninsult" wrote thingsicantsayatwork. "@realDonaldTrump I'm getting my period this week. I'll make sure to keep you updated," promised Skylar Thømas. So, adult actresses: Care to give The Donald a taste of your own experiences?
