Sam Rakowski Named As SK Intertainment's New President |
CHICAGO—SK Intertainment, the digital media company that oversees such diverse brands as MrSkin.com and Fleshbot, has announced the promotion of Sam Rakowski to the position of president. Rakowski, who started with SK Intertainment in 2001, has held a variety of positions in the company, including content manager, project manager, and director of business development. Most recently he has served as chief operating officer. In recent years Rakowski has directed the expansion of SK Intertainment's portfolio to include Mr. Man, the new Naked News, Fleshbot, and a growing network of men's entertainment websites. As president, Rakowski intends to focus even more on developing new products and business. He will continue to report to SK Intertainment's founder, Jim McBride, who remains CEO of the company. "Not only is Sam an incredibly trusted and valued employee here," said McBride, "but he also sets a great example to our team of 45 because he works so hard to make us better. I couldn't be happier to give him this promotion—especially because of how he rose through the ranks to become a great leader. He's also such a likable and good guy. Even though today is the 16th anniversary of the launch of MrSkin.com, our future has never looked better. We have a lot of exciting things on the horizon and I look forward to working with Sam and our skinployees to continue this skintastic ride." James Robinson, who was recently promoted to director of business development, oversees the Mr. Skin Cash sales team, cultivating B2B relationships and all traffic deals. Ryan McClughen, who recently celebrated 11 years with SK Intertainment, will take over all operations management responsibilities.
