Nominees Announced For 2015 ED Awards

CLEARWATER, Fla.—Exotic Dancer Publications, producers of the Annual Gentlemen's Club Expo and Annual ED Awards Show, is proud to announce the nominees for four feature entertainer award categories, including the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award.  The four Entertainer of the Year nominees will perform on stage during the 18th Annual ED Awards Show, which is presented by Anheuser-Busch and takes place Aug. 25 at the Civic Theatre in New Orleans during the 23rd Annual Expo.  The following four entertainers are nominated for the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award: Angela Sommers, Christina Aguchi, Justice and Roxi D'Lite. Christina and Justice received automatic nominations after winning the 2015 EDI (Exotic Dancer Invitational) East and West contests respectively. Angela won the EDI West Showgirl Division in 2015 and EDI West Newcomer Division in 2014, while also winning ED's Newcomer of the Year Award in '14. Roxi was a 2014 nominee for ED's Entertainer of the Year Award and winner of the EDI East contest in 2014. Reigning ED's Entertainer of the Year Lacey Rain will be on hand to present the award to the new Overall Entertainer of the Year. The reigning Entertainer of the Year is not eligible to be nominated for the same award the following year). "Our Entertainer of the Year Award showcases the top 'showgirl' feature entertainers in the industry, and we are very excited to see what each of these exceptional entertainers bring to the stage at the Civic Theatre this year," said ED Publications' Associate Publisher Dave Manack, noting that the remaining ED Award nominees—including Overall Club of the Year, regional club nominations and club staff award nominations, would be revealed in late June. Nominees for the Newcomer Entertainer of the Year Award are Angel Beau, Chelsea La Vone, Eva Lovia, Jazy Berlin, Jordan Skye, Natasha Nova, Peta Jensen and Reagan Reilly. Nominees for the Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year Award are Jaded Dawn, Janine Jericho, Jayden Cole, Lisa Licious, Miss Mena, Phoenix Phires, Rubberdoll, Simone Danalustrous, Vayda Kiss and Viva La Muerte. Nominees for the Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year Award are: Alexis Texas, Allie Haze, Danica Dillon, Katie Morgan, Kendra Lust, Lexi Belle, Nichole Aniston, Nikki Delano, Richelle Ryan and Sophie Dee & Gianna Michaels (duo) The Overall Entertainer of the Year and Newcomer of the Year Awards will be presented on stage at the Civic Theatre, while the Club Favorite and Adult Movie Entertainer Awards will be presented at the pre-Awards reception during the Opening Night Pub Crawl at the Penthouse New Orleans club on August 24th. Best known for her primetime ABC show "Thea," Thea Vidale is a 30-year comedy veteran whose show can be as clean or as dirty as the audience calls for. And naturally, she'll be bringing her wildest show!"  In other ED Awards news, for the first time ever, the ED's will include the "International Club of the Year" Award. And in keeping with recent ED Awards tradition, this year's "house" band is acclaimed New Orleans act, The Royal Dukes.
