âMarriage 2.0â to Screen at the Holy Fuck Film Festival in Amsterdam |
AMSTERDAM—Continuing a stint of successful stops on the avant-garde film circuit, the acclaimed erotic film Marriage 2.0 will screen on Saturday, May 16 at the Holy Fuck Film Festival at Filmhuis Cavia in Amsterdam. The erotic movie is produced by LionReach Productions and distributed by Adam & Eve. Earlier this year, Marriage 2.0 earned Movie of the Year honors at the Feminist Porn Awards in Toronto and Best Narrative at the CineKink Film Festival in New York. The movie, which garnered a 5A rating from AVN, stars India Summer and Ryan Driller as lovers searching to redefine their relationship beyond the constraints of monogamy. “We are very grateful to the festival organizers for providing us with this opportunity to screen ‘Marriage 2.0’ in Amsterdam, Europe’s adult entertainment capital,” said Marriage 2.0 screenwriter and producer Magnus Sullivan. “Showing Marriage 2.0 on the festival circuit and in public venues has been extremely gratifying, as the movie continues to play for packed houses where every single person in the audience stays until the credits … and the feedback is amazing!” The Holy Fuck Film Festival will be held May 13-17 at Filmhuis Cavia in Amsterdam. It features a variety of adult films ranging from documentary and shorts to feature and specialty adult films from around the world. The event will also include workshops, lectures, and discussion panels by renowned experts. For more, visit HolyFuckFilmFestival.com. Marriage 2.0, which premiered on AdamAndEveTV.com in February, has gained the attention of film reviewers and cinemaphiles with its merging of hardcore sex with compelling narrative. “Marriage 2.0 is a very unique film experience,” said director Paul Deeb. “It challenges many preconceptions of what adult entertainment is and what the genre is capable of.” Film reviewer Steve Gustafson of 411Mania.com called the film “An ambitious project that clearly exemplifies how [the adult] industry is in a state of evolution.” Tristan Taormino, host of VoiceAmerica’s Sex Out Loud radio show and no stranger to adult filmmaking herself, called the cinematography "absolutely stunning" and said the movie has "the production values of a mainstream film. ... It is absolutely gorgeous, thoughtful, and beautiful.” Other adult performers in the movie include Dylan Ryan, Nina Hartley and Mickey Mod, along with appearances by renowned sex and relationship experts, such as Emily Morse, Chris Ryan, Marcia Baczynski, Carol Queen and Reid Mihalko.
