‘Marriage 2.0’ Screened at San Francisco Charity Benefit

SAN FRANCISCO—An audience including local sex education advocates, health care activists, adult stars, and fans viewed a screening of the adult production Marriage 2.0 on May 2. The event, the movie’s public premiere, raised funds for local organizations the St. James Infirmary and the Center for Sex & Culture. The screening took place at the historic Victoria Theatre in the Mission District. The evening started with red carpet arrivals and after the screening there was a presentation by the movie's creators, followed by a VIP party which featured adult performers and cast members. The post-screening presentation was joined by director Paul Deeb, screenwriter Magnus Sullivan and author Chris Ryan for a question-and-answer session. Among those attending were Carol Queen, founder of the Center for Sex & Culture; Cyd Nova, program director for St. James Infirmary; and members of the performance troupe Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Marriage 2.0 features India Summer, Ryan Driller, Dylan Ryan, Nina Hartley and Mickey Mod, along with appearances from sex and relationship experts including Emily Morse, Carol Queen and Reid Mihalko. The movie follows a couple (India Summer and Ryan Driller) on their search for personal freedom, as well as emotional and sexual bliss, within the context of an honest and committed modern relationship. It received Movie of the Year honors at the Feminist Porn Awards last month in Toronto. In addition, the unrated version received the Best Narrative Feature award at New York’s CineKink Film Festival in February. Marriage 2.0 premiered February 26 on AdamAndEveTV.com, an Adam & Eve property powered by GameLink.com. Marriage 2.0 was produced by LionReach Productions and is distributed by Adam & Eve.
