On the Set: Veronica Vain Vehicle 'Screwing Wall Street' |
If there's one thing that can be said for overnight media darling Veronica Vain, it's that she chose her porno coming out project wisely: With the cachet of the Evil Angel name behind it, and ultra luminaries Kayden Kross, Manuel Ferrara and Stoya surrounding her in it, Screwing Wall Street: The ArrangementFinders IPO has the makings of a real chart-shatterer, to be sure. On a Monday in a location that looks like the very antithesis of Wall Street from the outside (let's just call the surroundings downtrodden), all of the above-mentioned players are bustling about a remarkably Wall Street-esque set in preparation for Vain's virgin girl/girl sex scene, with Stoya. (She shot a boy/girl for the movie with Ferrara about a week prior.) This is the second big star vehicle Kross and Ferrara have co-directed for his Manuel Ferrara Productions (distributed by Evil), following multiple 2015 AVN Award nominee Misha Cross: Wide Open. The intriguing new twist with this one, however, is the product placement deal they secured with ArrangementFinders.com that essentially funded the movie. Kross cleverly wove ArrangementFinders into the plot by making it the hot stock Wall Street broker Stoya advises intern Vain (whose real-world internship stint is of course the novelty at the center of this porno-imitates-life debut) to buy up before it pops. Naturally, such a juicy tip-off must be followed by hot lesbian sex. This being Vain's first real one-on-one time with another woman (she's fooled around in threesomes, she reveals), her nerves are rather high. "I feel like the whole world is going to be judging me here," she admits to Kross and Stoya in the conference room across from the office set where the scene will be shot. Kross offers reassurance, telling her, "You're a natural, your scene with Manuel was amazing, you're gonna do fine. The cool part is you have the same parts so you know what hurts and what feels good. Guys don't have that advantage." Stoya chimes in, "The cool thing about pussy is it's responsive in so many ways." "I feel like I should go rub one out just to get myself more aroused," Vain says. She then expresses concern over the continuity issue that will result from the plan in place to shoot the after-sex dialogue between herself and Stoya before the actual sex, asking Kross how it will make sense that they suddenly look completely untouched. "Because porno!" Kross exclaims. With that, it's over to the office set and on to the action. After the aforementioned post-sex dialogue is in the can, some group blocking of the forthcoming sex ensues, with Ferrara stepping in to demonstrate how Stoya should perform doggie on Vain with the strap-on she's wielding (apparently the veteran star's own first for the day). "It's not hard, just do this," Ferrara instructs while bending Vain over a chair and thrusting against her backside. "Haven't you done this before?" "No!" Stoya replies. "I don't have a dick, Manuel!" Moving on, showtime begins with Vain blowing Stoya's rubber phallus. As she does so, Stoya unbuttons her own top and flings it aside haughtily. She then leans down, grabs Vain by the back of the head and kisses her deeply. A little more blowing follows, and then Stoya pulls Vain to her feet, pushes her back into the chair, walks around behind her and begins to undress her. As she comes back around to the front, Vain removes her own bra, which Stoya snatches away and tosses behind her. Stoya yanks Vain up, turns her around, fingers her a bit from behind and then moves in to penetrate her with the strap-on. Which proves a bigger problem than Stoya had feared. No matter how the two try and find a conducive position, the fake dong just doesn't seem to want to do its job. And so finally they decide to scrap it. Instead, they put their fingers and tongues to work on each other in various spots around the office—on top of the desk, in front of it, against the bookshelf—and captivating as all of it is, Ferrara wants more. "There needs to be a little more energy," he tells the pair during a cut. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking you guys to go over the top, I just need a little more energy." The scene re-commences and they strive to amp things up a bit, but they both seem a little unsure of where to go with the interaction. And that's when Kross steps in and does something you just don't see many directors do: buries her face between Stoya's legs and eats her out good for a few beats, to which Stoya reacts with wild ecstasy. Pulling away, Kross says matter-of-factly: "That's what I need." Stoya and Vain go back at it again, and they seem to have found their groove this time, but with Kross doling out very specific direction to them from behind the camera—one of the most shining examples we've ever witnessed of sex actually being directed. "Stoya, turn her on her side, then lick your way up the inside of her thigh until you hit the right spot," Kross imparts. After following that request, Stoya steers Vain into some scissoring, sucking on her toes while they grind. Kross then interjects, "OK, Stoya, throw her back, make her eat your ass, rise to a crescendo, then let's pull out of this." Her request is once more fulfilled, and then Kross gives Stoya the final directive: "Kiss her, give her a friendly slap on the face, then walk back around to your desk." The scene at last wrapped, Vain goes about preparing to face off with AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue, who has shown up on set. And Stoya goes about heading home. So does Veronica Vain ultimately succeed in Screwing Wall Street or does Wall Street screw her? You'll have to watch the whole movie to find out—it streets from Evil Angel April 13.
