Tim Von Swine Racks Up Pair of XRCO Nominations

LOS ANGELES— Continuing a roll that started late last year, director Tim Von Swine has added a pair of XRCO Awards nominations to his 2015 awards roster. Von Swine has seen his work nominated for both AVN and now XRCO Awards. He was also inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame for his body of work. The X Rated Critics Organization voters singled out Von Swine's work on the Mike John Productions series POV Pervert for Best POV Series. Von Swine's prowess behind the camera also garnered him a nomination for Best Director - Non Feature. An industry veteran who has spent the last several years as the primary shooter and talent for Mike John Productions, Von Swine expressed delight at the critical recognition. "I've been blessed with fans that are not only terribly loyal to our brand of porno, but they're also great at letting Mike and I know what they want to see," said Von Swine. "Combine that with the consistently positive feedback and reviews we receive from the people who critique porno on a daily basis for our efforts, and it's extremely gratifying." The nomination for POV Pervert as Best POV Series marks its fifth consecutive nomination. The Jules Jordan-distributed series has been nominated every year since the category was introduced and has taken home the award at each of the previous four XRCO Award shows, as well as a win for Best POV Release in 2006 (POV Pervert 5). In keeping with the Mike John Productions tradition, the POV action was captured by the same guy dishing out the pork, Von Swine himself. "The past several years I've worked very hard to try and establish myself as one of the premier POV shooters in all of XXX," Von Swine added. "To receive nominations for my scenes and movies by such tenured reviewers is just icing on the POV cake! Getting recognition for my handheld POV porno from the fans and XRCO reviewers shows that what Mike and I do is still among the best of the best.  And hopefully we can score another big win this year amidst probably the stiffest competition we've ever faced, so good luck to everyone else who's also nominated, but we're definitely hoping to take home our seventh award (overall) from XRCO for POV excellence." Hoping to build on the success of the past year, Von Swine has several projects in the works. In addition to shooting the next volumes of POV Pervert and Totally Unprofessional for MJP, he has a series of amateur videos that he asserts will broaden the current porn landscape.
