FBI Arrests Gay Performer Jarec Wentworth on Extortion Charges |
LOS ANGELES—Sean Cody star-turned-Men.com exclusive Jarec Wentworth is facing federal extortion charges following his arrest by FBI agents on March 4, Str8UpGayPorn.com reports. Wentworth, whose legal name is Teofil Brank, was put under surveillance after he reportedly took $500,000 and an Audi R8 valued at $180,000 from an unnamed victim, in exchange for not releasing details of the victim’s sexual liaisons. Str8UpGayPorn.com posted portions of the FBI’s affidavit, which details the demands via text messaging—which went on to include another $1 mooing in cash and a condo in Los Angeles—as well as the arrest. The documents state that an FBI agent posing as the victim’s friend met with Wentworth/Brank at 8:30 p.m. March 4 in a Starbucks and handed over the title to the Audi and discussed the transfer of the $1 million. The agent lured Wetworth/Brank outside by stating the money was in the trunk of his car; once outside, other agents arrested the performer. Another man and a loaded gun were found in the vehicle Wetworth/Brank arrived in, reports state. It is unclear if the other person was arrested, though he was questioned. Wetworth/Brank is currently being held in federal custody without bail, and is scheduled to be arraigned March 26. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison, possibly more because of the presence of the weapon. Wetworth/Brank has appeared in almost 70 gay porn scenes since entering the industry in 2010.
