Miss Allison Leigh, Sanctuary LAX Present âSMUT: An Art Event for Your Kinky Sideâ |
LOS ANGELES—Art and fetish seem to be made for each other, and yet, there just aren't enough places where the two can meet. Saturday night, March 28, Miss Allison Leigh and Sanctuary LAX are letting art and fetish make a love connection with "SMUT: An Art Event for Your Kinky Side." "This night will be packed with LA's top fashion models and dozens of skilled artists of every medium," said Mistress Cyan, Headmistress of Sanctuary LAX. "Joining us will be painters, poets, and illustrators. Since Sanctuary LAX is a working BDSM dungeon and fetish events space, many of our staff, including rope bondage expert Miss Cassie will be on hand for workshops and demonstrations for those who want to get their 50 shades of curious going." Miss Allison Leigh, who has been planning this for months, said, "We have live entertainment from local kink and burlesque highlighting the evening. Mistress Bella Bathory will be lighting up our main stage with a breathtaking grinder performance. Don't miss The Hollywood Jane Revue and aerialist Isabella Sophia." And of course, it wouldn't be an art show without a bunch of art. Leigh has lined up a stampede of more than 30 erotic and fetish artists such as Eben Feathers, Cara Madsen, Samantha Franco, Atom Bon, and Blair Deverous. There will also be the photography of Joel Hindman and Michael Diaz of Surgeon Studios, fashion by Zed Threads, and leatherwork by Smart Pencil Designs. Fusion Kitty Studios will have a photo booth for guests and aspiring models. For those who want to get creative, models will be present for live sketching sessions and body painting will be available. Organic snacks will be provided by an independent operative of Food Not Bombs of Ventura. This event is for one night only. Tickets are currently available with discounts for couples and threesomes. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Sanctuary Studios LAX, 10914 S. La Cienega, Los Angeles, CA 90304. For more information go to www.facebook.com/SMUTisART.
