Belle Knox Earns XRCO Award Nomination

LOS ANGELES—Duke University student and porn performer Belle Knox is nominated for Mainstream Star of the Year for the 2015 XRCO Awards. The X-Rated Critics Organization was founded in 1984 to give writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the yearly best in adult entertainment. “It’s such an honor to be nominated by the XRCO!” said Belle. “Thank you, critics, for your continued support – it’s because of you and the fans that my 2014 was so spectacular, and my 2015 has started off so well!” The 31st Annual XRCO Awards Show will be held in Hollywood, California. Admission to the XRCO Awards is free; however, attendance is restricted to adult industry personnel and press only. Attendees must RSVP to be put on the list; additional information can be found at http://xrcoawards.com. Knox, an 18-year-old Duke University studen, the nation’s most famous university-student-turned-porn-star, became national headline news last year, after being exposed and as an adult performer by a fellow classmate. The resulting on-campus drama resulted in Belle taking charge of the situation, by writing an article for www.xojane.com and embarking on a year-long media blitz. Interviewed on The View, Huffington Post Live, The Bethenny Frankel Show, Good Day New York, FOX News, and countless radio shows across the country, as well as by Howard Stern, John Stossel, Piers Morgan, and more. The starlet has also been the focus of articles in Time Magazine, The NY Times, and Rolling Stone, a storyline for an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the focus of a Conde Nast documentary, Becoming Belle Knox.  Fans can find Belle Knox on www.belleknox.com and on Twitter at https://twitter.com/belle_knox.
