Doc Johnson Earns Cruelty-Free Certification from PETA

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Doc Johnson has been certified cruelty-free by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the largest animal rights organization in the world, through PETA's Beauty without Bunnies program. The Beauty Without Bunnies program clarifies non-animal terminology and procedures, compiles information on the testing policies of companies and organizations, and certifies companies as cruelty-free. All of Doc’s lotions and potions, and all Doc Johnson products for that matter, have been created cruelty-free since the doors opened in 1976. But now, its official that all of the manufacturer’s cosmetic goods are PETA certified and will be listed in PETA's Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide and online searchable database of cruelty-free companies, as well as featuring the Beauty without Bunnies cruelty-free Bunny logo. "We at Doc Johnson are very excited to be a part of PETA's Beauty without Bunnies program," said Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson's COO and creative director. "We are strongly committed to cruelty-free production, and we couldn't be happier that PETA has made it easier for consumers to find like-minded companies, and shop for cruelty-free products." All companies that are included on PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide have signed PETA's statement of assurance and have verified that neither they nor their ingredient suppliers conduct, commission, or pay for any tests on animals for ingredients, formulations, or finished products.
