Baci Lingerie Donates to Dress for Success |
VAN NUYS, Calif.—Baci Lingerie has pledged 7,079 unused bras in support of Dress for Success. At a market value of $100,000, Baci’s donation will be split up among three Dress for Success locations in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, each a segment of the international 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting disadvantaged women in finding and maintaining their independence through gainful employment. Baci Lingerie owner Frank Koretsky said, “Dress for Success is a wonderful organization helping women take their lives into their own hands. Baci Lingerie is committed to empowering women around the world, and supporting groups like Dress for Success is so important to our ongoing philanthropic mission. It is our sincere hope that our involvement creates awareness and inspires others to support causes that positively impact the lives of women of all walks.” The portion of the donation designated for the Dress for Success LA location was used in this year’s Shop for Success LA, Dress for Success’s fourth annual pop-up shopping celebration, where attendees will have the opportunity to snag designer deals up to 70 percent off. All of the proceeds support Dress for Success Worldwide West. For more information, visit ShopForSuccessLA.com. In the spirit of philanthropy, Baci Lingerie has made past donations to the Los Angeles location of Dress for Success, as well as a pledge of more than 5,000 bras and undergarments to the Philadelphia-based Career Wardrobe, a similar professional support service charity, earlier this year.
