Belle Knox Is Major Plot Point on Tonight's âLaw & Order: SVUâ |
NEW YORK CITY—Duke University student and teen porn sensation Belle Knox’s story has been ripped straight from the headlines and is the main plot point of tonight’s Law & Order: SVU episode, airing at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST on NBC-TV. The storyline is taken straight from tabloid coverage of when Knox was “outed” as a porn star by a fellow Duke University student. The SVU episode centers on a young coed, who presses charges on her fellow male students after an on-campus gang rape. The coed gets discovered as a porn performer; the Special Victims Unit detectives discuss how the young lady, in this day and age of web and technology, could have possibly thought she could keep the fact a secret. “SVU is my favorite show,” said Knox. “I’m thrilled they are basing the lead character for this week’s premiere episode off of my story. It’s surreal.” The preview for tonight’s 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST episode, entitled "Pornstar's Requiem," can be seen here. Belle’s in-depth, five-part Conde Nast documentary, Becoming Belle Knox, launched last week here. All five episodes showcasing the intimate details of Belle Knox’s life aired at once on the site.
