Aneros Hosts Reddit IAmA with Sex Educator Charlie Glickman |
HOUSTON—At 8:30 p.m. EST today, Aneros will wrap up Prostate Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a Reddit IAmA with sex educator and noted author Charlie Glickman, Ph.D., along with Aneros representative Brent Aldon, the director of sales and marketing for the prostate massager manufacturer. Every question posed by the Reddit community during the Q&A forum will result in a $1 donation from Aneros to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The Reddit IAmA (“I Am A: Ask Me Anything”) will take place from 8:30-9:30 p.m. EST. At 8 p.m. EST, Aneros and Glickman will post links to the IAmA from their respected Twitter accounts— @Aneros and @CharlieGlickman. A noted educator, researcher and author of The Ultimate Guide to Prostate Pleasure: Erotic Exploration for Men and Their Partners, Glickman has been at the forefront of men’s prostate health. “The best way to take great care of yourself is to know your body. Unfortunately, a lot of men don’t know much about what they can do to take care of their prostate,” Glickman said. “When you’re familiar with it, it’s much easier to talk with your doctor and keep things working smoothly. Plus, prostate massage can feel really good. How often is there something that’s good for you and feels amazing?” Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men and is a leading cause of cancer death in men, second only to lung cancer. According to American Cancer Society, there is an estimated 192,280 new cases of prostate cancer and an estimated 27,360 deaths in the United States annually. Prostate massage is an all-natural, preventative measure for erectile dysfunctions (ED), such as premature ejaculation and incontinence. It also relieves prostate complications, which if left untreated can sometimes lead towards or result in prostate cancer. Aneros’ prostate massagers are the only medically patented prostate massagers on the market. “Charlie Glickman is an amazing wealth of information regarding men’s health and prostate care,” said Aldon. “We felt he was the perfect person to help wrap up a month dedicated to raising awareness about prostate health, as well as encouraging men to get to know their bodies a bit better, which is the best way to detect any complications. Please join us for what will be an extremely interesting hour on Reddit.” Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, also called National Prostate Health Month (NPHM), is observed every September in the United States. Health experts and advocates provide valuable information, including prostate health screenings, to increase public awareness of the importance of prostate health. Started in 1999 by the American Foundation for Urological Disease (AFUD), today health systems and medical organizations sponsor events across the country, and sports organizations, including the NFL, spread awareness during games.
