Cops 'Shocked' to Find Porn Film Playing Loudly in Catalonia |
CATALONIA, Spain—The local police were "shocked" when they arrived on the scene of the crime in Rubi, Catalonia, as was the New York Daily News when it spotted the news item on La Vanguardia. "Worried locals in a quiet Spanish town called cops Tuesday after hearing loud screams penetrating their usually sedate neighborhood," was its lede. "But when officers arrived to investigate, they were stunned to find the source of the hysterical shrieks was, in fact, the soundtrack of a hardcore porn movie." Okay, they were both "stunned" and "shocked." You get the idea; it was that upsetting for both the demure Spanish locals and responding law enforcement officers unaccustomed to dealing with such extreme situations. But their training kicked in, allowing the first responders to deal adroitly with the sticky situation. "Police... ordered the man, who has not been named, to turn the sound on his television set down," and also "asked him to "behave with more consideration for his community in the future," reported the Daily News. Crisis barely averted. Image: Cops investigate screaming, courtesy of Nacio Digital TV, via YouTube.
