Rick's Cabaret International is Now RCI Hospitality Holdings

HOUSTON—Publicly traded Rick's Cabaret announced at its annual shareholders meeting yesterday in Houston that it had received approval via a vote of shareholders to change the name of the company from Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. to RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. The name change went into effect yesterday, Aug. 6. Eric Langan, president and CEO of the leading operator of adult gentlemen's clubs and sports bar/restaurants in the U.S., commented, "RCI Hospitality Holdings clarifies our identity and reflects how we have evolved into a substantial, more diverse enterprise. Since becoming a publicly traded company in 1995, when we had only one adult club named Rick's Cabaret, we have transformed into an owner and operator of 43 adult clubs and sport/bar restaurants under multiple brands and formats across the country. The new name embraces critical qualities that are key to our success now and in the future." In addition to a new name, the company also has a new corporate website, rcihospitality.com, as well as a new logo, but will retain the ticker symbol RICK for its NASDAQ stock exchange listing.
