Girlfriends Films Streets B. Skow's âSweetness and Lightâ |
VENICE, Calif.—The next installment in director B. Skow’s line of boy/girl romantic features for Girlfriends Films has hit the streets. Sweetness and Light (Skow for Girlfriends Films) fits in with the director's winning streak of critically acclaimed, not-so-ordinary couples’ movies—such as What Do You Want Me To Say?, Voilà and Paint. The movie stars Brooklyn Chase, Siri, Alektra Blue, Karla Kush, Belle Noire, Alan Stafford, Seth Gamble and Evan Stone—all performers known for their acting as well their abilities to turn in strong sex scenes. “I think Brooklyn is one of the best all-around female performers and her beauty and natural acting abilities really draw you into the story and the sex,” Skow said. “Siri and Belle are sexy and funny. I love working with both of these girls because they both are able to get into any crazy characters and truly love lesbian sex.” Skow said Kush has become one of his go-to girls for wild character parts and he is amazed how she understands what he’s trying to get out of her every time. “She looks so sweet and fucks like an animal in this movie,” the director said. Blue and Stone provide the movie’s comic relief. Said Skow, they “stand out as the weirdest family members you’ll ever meet.” The concept for the movie came from an article Skow read about how many doctors and psychologists agree that fighting can be healthy. The professionals suggest that it’s not how you fight, it’s how you make up. In Sweetness and Light, making up provides some sexy results. “I think this movie is so, so relatable to every single person who has ever lived together or had a couples argument,” Skow said. One of the director's final movies for Vivid Entertainment was Austin Powers XXX: A Porn Parody, which has just received a perfect AAAAA rating from AVN in a review peppered with words like “brilliant,” “outstanding” and “takes the cake.” Reviewer Sherri L. Shaulis writes, “B. Skow not only gets the most from his actors and actresses, but from the crew as well. Quick edits, shots played for laughs and special effects are done in homage to the original movie, and the script could easily replace that of the third movie in the trilogy, which really was lackluster and forgettable. Parodies have become old hat in adult, but B. Skow and everyone associated with Austin Powers XXX: A Porn Parody show that with dedication and determination it can be done well. This effort is absolute perfection.” Click here to read the full review. And click here to see the trailer on AVN.com. For more information on Sweetness and Light, click here. Follow B.
