New Ear Buds Threaten to Expose Porn’s Dirty Little Secret

LOS ANGELES—A Taiwan-based company may have unwittingly stumbled upon porn’s dirtiest secret: voices as the magical ingredient in great porn. The company, Winzz, announced today “the release of newly developed earbud that it said allows viewers to enjoy better acoustics and more intense sensation when watching pornography,” Focus Taiwan reported. Reportedly the first buds of their kind, “The headphones focus more on voices than sounds, the company said, claiming that they can make female voices ‘more pleasing and less sharp’ and male voices fuller and rounder.” Okay, so they're not the most politcally correct buds in the world. At least they're cheap. The six-channel surround sound earpieces only run a lousy forty bucks, while featuring “a 10 mm double layer composite diaphragm with a frequency response ranging from 15 Hz to 22 KHz.” So you have to ask yourself, do I really want to waste money on Beats when Winzz puts the moan and groan back in porn?
