ASACP Travels to New Orleans for Internext Expo |
LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its upcoming participation in the annual Internext Expo — May 28-31 at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in New Orleans. Internext brings together adult professionals from around the world to provide a stimulating atmosphere in which to do business. This year marks the 15 anniversary of this premier event that continues to surpass itself year after year as the must-attend show for newbies and industry leaders alike, who gather for an unforgettable experience where business and pleasure are self-perpetuating influences. “The longest running and one of the most important adult industry trade events, Internext Expo is a required stop on many stakeholder’s show schedules, and provides ASACP with an unparalleled opportunity to reach affiliate marketers, as well as the leaders of the companies they promote,” ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, stated. “This varied mix of attendees representing all levels of the industry is a vital audience to relay our Best Practices and Code of Ethics to and to encourage the use of the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label that prevents minors from accessing age-restricted online content.” Internext Expo and its sponsors generously provided ASACP with a table at the Meet Market, plus a table topper and a mention in the press release announcing this year’s Meet Market participants, along with premium roll-up banner placement. The ASACP logo will also appear on the Internext website, along with a mention for the association on the event’s mobile app and an insert in the show’s swag bag. Finally, ASACP will receive two free event badges as well as two nights of complimentary hotel accommodations at the Marriott — underscoring the promoters’ support of ASACP, and its mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment. Henning will be on hand to discuss ASACP’s position on various current issues affecting the digital media industry and will explain how adult media companies can protect themselves by protecting children. “Over the 15-year evolution of Internext, the online adult entertainment industry also evolved, and it is now more important than ever for site operators and app publishers to do the right thing, by keeping adult sites and apps accessible to adults only,” Henning adds. “Thanks to the ongoing generosity of Internext Expo, ASACP will once again have a presence at this prestigious event.” For more information or to schedule a meeting, contact tim@asacp.org.
