Homeless Man Breaks Into Homes to Purchase Porn |
BUTTE, Montana—A homeless man in Butte has been caught serially breaking into homes and garages to watch porn. The good news? He's a paying customer, albeit on someone else's dime. The authorities seem to have a handle on the problem, however, following Darwin James Bailey's most recent arrest in February for "watching porn and smoking cigarettes in someone else’s garage," according to the Billing's Gazette. Police soon realized that Bailey may also have been the same man who in January broke into another home in the area and ordered three porn movies on pay-per-view. (Hey, it's a sale!) According to the Gazette, "Court documents filed Wednesday in Butte district court say Bailey broke into the home to not only watch adult films, but also to steal collectible coins, which included a set featuring Princess Diana and Prince Charles. He also is accused of taking about 20 DVDs from the home, including seven seasons of Smallville. That burglary occurred on Jan. 2." "The homeowner became suspicious when he returned home and his bedroom television was on and displaying pornography, prosecutors say. The man then saw that three movies had been ordered," the paper added. "Women’s clothing not belonging to the wife also was found in the bedroom. Authorities believe Bailey’s girlfriend may have joined him for the viewing." Bailey's bail has been set at $80,000, and he "faces two felony charges of burglary, one felony charge of theft, a probation violation and a felony revocation of sentence." Bailey, who ain't making bail, now sits in jail. Yes, it's a sad day in hell when the face of the paying porn consumer is a trespassing homeless man from Butte.
