DMM, Japan's Largest Adult Company, Announces R18.com

TOKYO—The Japanese adult entertainment industry is the largest outside of North America, but it has remained largely inaccessible to non-Japanese speaking users, until now. DMM.com, creator and operator the adult site DMM.co.jp, has announced the pre-launch of a new English localized site, R18.com. This new service will offer a completely new experience for English-speaking users interested in surfing for Japanese content. The website has been redesigned specifically to provide them with the largest online market of Japanese adult movies and comics.  “We are really excited to be able to share Japanese content with English speaking users, most of which has never been seen outside of Asia before,” said Alain Garcia Bariel, manager of the R18.com website." R18.com will have a huge collection of Japanese adult videos easily accessible through a streamlined marketplace and feature-rich search engine. The site’s current catalog of Japanese movies, compromising over 220,000 videos, will be available on R18.com. The site will launch with approximately 150,000 videos and will be expanded to 200,000 videos within 3 months. Hundreds of categories of movies will be available along with over 5,000 fully translated hentai comics.
